Back Story

Valentine’s Day takes place during an awkward time of year. Here in upstate New York, we have plenty of snow on the ground and the outside temperatures are in the low 20s, if not colder. So, unless you like skiing or ice fishing, outside activities are pretty limited. Similarly, most people are still recovering from the post holiday blahs. With the loss of sunlight, cold weather and post holiday hangover, Valentine’s Day gets lost in the shuffle of day to day life.

With that in mind, I wanted to share some easy and affordable DIY Valentine’s Day projects with you.
