Similarly, integrating floral patterns and soft summer colors into your bedding is a fun way to incorporate the season into your home decor.

One of my favorite ways to infuse bedding with character and charm is to mix and match patterns, colors, and textures. Rather than having everything match, I will combine sheets, quilts and duvet covers. Here are a few trips for mixing and matching bedding.

• Mix stripes or gingham patterns with a floral pattern
• Add a solid color quilt or duvet cover
• Combine large scale floral patterns with small ditsy floral patterns
• Incorporate linen duvet covers or fuzzy blankets to add texture
