There is nothing quite like a virus pandemic to spur innovation, creativity and determination. Now that all antique stores are closed and all Fairs/Markets have been canceled, at least until fall, vendors are coming up with some unique ways to reach their customers. Brimfield antique show, which is a fantastic event comprised of thousands of dealers has been an event for more than 50 years. I wrote a blog post about visiting the show last fall. The event is comprised of different fields, which are owned and operated independently. The good folks at Hertan’s Antique Shows, which operates one of the fields at Brimfield,is going to be doing a Facebook LIVE event on May 12th.
This event will be showing videos and photos of inventory that different vendors would have sold at Brimfield.
I was fortunate enough to be included in the group of vendors who will be selling inventory online. Just as with any Fair, I included a variety of inventory. Here is a sneak peek of some of the items for sale:
This is definitely a new way of having a market where vendors and buyers can meet up. The Face Book LIVE event will continue over the 5 day period. It will definitely be worth “stopping by” on Face Book to see what all the vendors have available!
