Fresh Finds: April 2020

There is nothing quite like a quarantine to increase the challenge of finding new inventory!  I was up for the challenge.  Most of the items this month were shipped or I purchased them from someone I knew.

First up, are these beautiful linen “new old stock” kitchen towels.  These are becoming more and more difficult to find.  At least, towels that are in good condition.  These are in perfect condition and are a generous size.   The linen also dries so quickly which is such a nice feature.  I love the cheerful red stripes!

Next, I was able to find a pair of these beautiful old windows with the original glass.  Both windows have their “as found” chippy green paint color and old wavy glass.  These are perfect to incorporate into a little shed or greenhouse.  They also look great simply hung on the wall adorned with garland.

These two window frames are from Maine and were salvaged from an old home.

Finally, this set of vintage dishes stole my heart.  There are six dinner plates and six salad plates.

What I love is that they have poppies on them!  Most vintage china usually has roses decorating them.  So, when I saw that these had poppies, my heart jumped.

These are perfect for spring. Can’t you imagine someone eating a piece of birthday cake off of one of these plates?

Thanks for stopping by the blog!  I always appreciate you taking the time to read the updates from Sky Lark House.
