This post shares some of my favorite finds recently released by Target for their holiday season.

If you are new to this blog: Welcome! My name is Anna and I share information on collecting antique/vintage items, refurbishing furniture, and making small crafts/projects. The purpose of this blog is to share how to use creativity and antiques to make your home beautiful. Backstory

Truth be told, I love Thanksgiving. Every year, I swear not to post any Christmas related information until after Thanksgiving. However, I have learned (the hard way) by waiting this long, the best holiday inventory is long gone. This is especially true with holiday items from Target. The store offers irresistible items at a great price point.

So this year, I rounded up some of the cutest finds for you before Thanksgiving. I spent the better part of two days finding the most appealing items in the stores and then finding the links online. My advice, if you see something you like – buy it now. When finding items to share with you, inventory was already selling out. (Seriously??) Online purchasing and social media have completely changed the shopping landscape. So, without delay, here are some of my favorite holiday finds from Target. If you like something, buy it now before it sells out.

Holiday Finds from Target

I typically re-use my existing holiday decor but every year it’s always fun to add a few new items. The majority of the items shared below are $30 or less. Some items look better in “real life” than the online images convey.

Threshold and Wondershop Finds

Silver and Gold Sequin Wreath -This neutral wreath will add sparkle to your holiday decor and would look so pretty placed over a mirror. It’s 25 inches in diameter. This definitely looks more sparkly in real life.

Snowflake Pillow– This is such an easy and affordable way to add some holiday cheer to a room. The neutral colors will go with any decor. The fabric has a velvet feel and the pillow is about 15 inches in diameter. The pillow has a solidly stuffed feel.

Vintage Style Bottle Brush Wreath – If you adore vintage kitchy Christmas decor, like I do, then this bottle brush wreath is perfect. This charming little wreath is 16 inches in diameter.

Mini cable knit stocking– These stockings were one of my favorite items. They are only $3 each and are available in white, red and green. I thought they would be fun to use as an advent calendar. They are 4 inches wide and 8 inches high.

Shearling Dog Pillow – The occasional quirky pillow is always a conversation piece and lets your visitors know you don’t take things too seriously. This adorable little dog pillow is super soft and affordable. It measures 16 inches wide and 15 inches high. It would also be perfect for a child’s bedroom.

White Ceramic Christmas Tree – My vintage loving heart fell in love with this sweet little white ceramic Christmas tree which lights up. The authentic vintage trees are quite expensive making these a bargain in comparison. It is offered in two sizes 14 inches tall and 6 inches tall.

Christmas Village Buildings– These little houses remind me of the buildings Mr. SLH and I saw in Amsterdam this past April. The gold building has LED lights. They would look lovely lined up on a fireplace mantel. The bell top buildings are 11 inches tall and the gold buildings are 6 inches tall.

Hearth and Hand Finds

Brass Bell Ornament -One reason I go into the stores to look at and hold the items is to get a good idea of their quality and how they are made. This brass bell has a nice substantial weight to it. (Not too light) The brass also has a beautiful patina conveying elegance. The green velvet ribbon adds a nice touch. It measures 2 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall. This definitely looks better in “real life” than online.

Flameless Candles – These flameless candles were also lovely. The brass and wood were equally well made and would go with almost any decor. You could also use these as table decor. They require three AAA batteries but come with a timer. (So you can extend the battery life) They are about 7 inches tall.

Glass Ornaments – As with the brass bell, these glass ornaments were a nice weight conveying their quality. The brass closures were also a nice touch. These could be filled with momentos of your choice. Some ideas include dried flowers, small photos, faux snow or even smaller ornaments. These ornaments are approximately 3 inches tall and 3 inches wide. These also look better in “real life” than online.

Other Target Finds

Peace Garland -This peace garland would look beautiful among greenery and lights. It reminds me of something you would find at Anthropologie. The garland is 6 feet long and has two pom poms at either end.

3 Foot Tall Bottle Brush Trees – I have never seen bottle brush trees this size! I wanted to buy an entire forest of them! (They remind me of vintage bottle brush trees) These make such a statement and would compliment any holiday decor. An added bonus is that they come in a variety of colors including white, gold, green and pink. You can’t go wrong at $20 a piece.

3 Piece Lit Ceramic Village– This little ceramic village set, which lights up, comes with batteries. I love the brown exposed base on each building and the warm yellow light. Each piece is about 5 inches tall. It’s a great deal at $10.

In Closing . . .

  1. I got a white ceramic Christmas tree from target and I love it. My husband tried to throw it away in our dumpster, but I snuck outside and pulled it back out. I guess I will have to be very strategic about where I display the tree in our home. Thank you for the fun ideas.

  2. So many fabulous finds, Anna! We’re using lots of golds, champagnes and whites this year so I’m super excited to dive into these links. I’m always shocked at how quickly the good stuff goes. Big hugs and thanks so much for putting this beautiful shopping list together, CoCo
