Moving week

Hey all!  The time has arrived.  At the end of this week, we are packing up and moving  Stone Soup Antiques (and Sky Lark House) to the new location at 2144 Doubleday Ave in Ballston Spa.  The new location will be open November 1st.  (Which is a little scary as someone who has to both move and set up a booth in the new location)

The weekend will be spent packing up “smalls” such as ironstone, vintage collectibles, English advertising jars, transferware, pewter, textiles, cutting boards etc.   Some of the smalls are shown below.

Fortunately, after doing some shows, I have many plastic bins that I can use to safely pack up these items.  I find that these bins are sturdier than boxes.

The existing furniture in my booth will also be moved to the new location.  However, I have also been saving some new and exciting pieces for the new location.

I can’t wait to move these new pieces into the new space! This antique English cupboard will be moving to the new location.

Also, this newly refurbished antique china cabinet with the curved glass door.

Of course, this little wash stand will be heading to the new location:

I will also bring over this little cute vintage cupboard with the tiny porcelain knobs:

f you visit us during the first week at our new location, please stop by and say hello. I will be there on Sunday November 1st.  (Probably feverishly finalizing the set up of my booth) Many dealers will be having special sales as a way to welcome customers to the new location.  Hope to see you there!
