Easy No Sew DIY Flag Garland

First, you will need to gather some supplies. You may have many of these items.  These items are also available at your local craft store.  I also provide links to the supplies in the post.

Use the pinking shears to cut the white fabric into 12 rectangles that are 5" x 3". The shears create a zig zag pattern on the fabric and prevent the edges from fraying.

Then use the pinking shears to cut your blue pattered fabric into 12 rectangles that are 2" x 1 ". As you can see, I used two types of blue patterned fabric.

Cut out 12 pieces of  5" x3" red check tissue paper. Use your hot glue gun to adhere the tissue paper to the white fabric rectangles.

Use the hot glue gun to attach the blue rectangles to the flag.  Trim your silver piper cleaners into 1/4" pieces and attach them to the blue fabric. These silver pieces represent the "stars".
